I love great design in any and every form; from the architecture of a new museum, to an app that teaches you a foreign language, to a movie poster from the 1960s. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the work someone put in to make something beautiful and functional.

My career has been spent creating effectual and user-friendly experiences online. I’ve worked for small companies, medium-sized agencies, and large multinational corporations; I have a unique perspective on the needs of users, customers and clients, as well as the multitude of different contexts in which they might experience your product.

UX Lead on EXPRESS iOS app design:

• Created the initial design concept and navigation structure that guided the foundation for the first release

• Participated in agile design process with creation of iterative sketches, wireframes, and prototypes

• Continually conducted usability testing, store intercept testing, and heuristic analysis throughout the agile process


UX Lead on responsive site redesign:

• Acted as UX consultant and product owner on year-long responsive site redesign

• Designed mobile-first navigation, working with merchants and SEO experts to create taxonomy

• Special focus on iterative evolution of Product Detail Page design, the page most critical for conversion

• Worked on projects outside normal shopping experiences, like premium product pre-sale experience

• Lead design of award-winning associate-facing iOS app SHC Connect, intended to help associates perform their daily responsibilities and monitor career progress

• Developed Kmart Garden Club omnichannel concept which won $700k new business pitch competing against top tier agencies

• Lead Manage My Life site redesign (MML was content repository for all Sears product manuals, diy tutorials, and real-time q&a)
